NITROX SPECIALITY

What exactly is Nitrox?
Nitrox is a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen where the oxygen content is more than 21%.

So What?
Well a higher percentage of oxygen in the mixture you breathe underwater brings a variety of advantages:

• Longer dive times
• More energy after diving
• Increased safety margins

By completing a day of theory and a day of diving you will learn about:

• Advantages and disadvantages of Nitrox (enriched air)
• Physics & physiology principles
• Equipment considerations and more
• How diving with Nitrox feels

With our Nitrox specialty course you will receive dual certification with and TDI. This then gives you the opportunity to advance this newfound knowledge and complete courses such as:

• TDI Advance Nitrox
• TDI Decompression Procedures
• TDI Extended Range
• TDI Dolphin / Ray Semi-closed Rebreather

These programs are conducted by our resident IDC Staff Instructor and TDI / Course Director.

REQUIREMENTS:
You need to be a certified entry level / open water diver.
